Trump’s fraught relationship with NATO

President Trump met with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte Thursday in the Oval Office. The meeting comes as the president has repeatedly scolded NATO allies for what he sees as inadequate defense spending, which has caused some European allies to fret about whether the U.S. will stand with them.
