At the central station in Berlin, Germany, they were welcomed by Deutsche Bahn CEO Richard Lutz, the president of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and his wife. Charles and Camilla are currently on a three-day tour around Germany to strengthen the relationship and maintain strong ties between the countries.
Queen Camilla opted for one of her favourite long coat dresses in navy from Anna Valentine, her go-to black boots and a matching handbag from Chanel.
The monarch accessorised the look with a diamond and sapphire brooch that belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth.
Camilla seemed to be paying a subtle tribute to the late Queen by wearing one of her most loved pieces of jewellery.
The diamond and sapphire brooch, also known as the Queen Victoria’s Sapphire and Diamond Wedding Brooch or Prince Albert Brooch, was a gift from Prince Albert to his future wife.

The stunning piece, trimmed with diamonds and set in gold, was one of the late Queen’s favourites, who wore it on many occasions over the years.
It is believed that the day before their wedding, in 1840, Prince Albert offered the beautiful jewel to Queen Victoria.
The Queen wrote in her diary that Albert had given her “a splendid brooch, a large sapphire set round with diamonds, which is really quite beautiful”.
Queen Victoria loved the jewel so much that she wore it on her wedding gown the day after. The Royal Collection described it as “a large oblong sapphire surrounded by 12 round diamonds”.
Queen Elizabeth II chose the brooch for the most important engagements and mostly for daytime events.
It is reported that Victoria and Albert had copies of the brooch made for their daughters.
Queen Elizabeth gifted one of those to her daughter Princess Anne, and for Anne’s 50th birthday in 2000, they both wore the same piece.
The Queen, of course, wore the original, while Princess Anne donned the copy for the glamorous event.

Interestingly, this is the first time the precious sapphire jewel is worn by Camilla, Queen Consort.
Royal fans took to social media to praise her look with Instagram user @from.birkhall.with.love saying Her Majesty was wearing “quite a special and meaningful” brooch.
“And very, very beautiful if I may say so! It was a wedding gift from Prince Albert to Queen Victoria… how amazing!
“Doesn’t she look stunning?” the royal watcher commented on the social media platform.
Twitter user @JenCarsonTaylor commented that Queen Camilla looked “so smart” in Berlin today.
Royal watcher @duchess_salty said: “Queen Camilla looks fabulous on the royal visit to Germany wearing symbolic jewellery just like her mother in law the late Queen.
“How wonderful Queen Camilla has been wearing lots of our late Queen’s jewellery on the royal visit.”
