A Royal expert has said a visit to Britain by the Duchess of Sussex would need to be “carefully curated and monitored”.
The Duke of Sussex is reportedly set to get his taxpayer-funded security while in the UK reinstated.
Prince Harry has previously spoken about wanting to show his children his homeland but that this is not possible without the security.
BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond suggested Meghan gives visitng the UK a “miss”, warning she’s more likely to face “verbal backlash” than Harry.
She added: “Harry and the kids can pop over and see Grandpa. Archie and Lilibet can take a peek inside the Palace walls their ancestors have inhabited. And then they can all head back to the sunshine.”
The Sussexes have not visited the UK together since Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in September 2022.
