M&S brings back popular sweet treat — fans say they ‘need’ to try it

You really can’t beat a wander around Marks and Spencer. The retailer is known for its delicious food, drinks and snacks, and they often feel a bit more luxurious compared to other supermarkets.

New product launches are happening all the time – most recently, the ‘Nutrient Dense’ range and the long-awaited gluten-free Colin the Caterpillar. But there’s also a good few comebacks, and one specific product has fans very excited to get their hands on again. They’re available in-store now, with shoppers running to pick up a pack.

If you’re partial to a Mini Egg or two in the run-up to Easter, then you’ll want to head to your closest M&S for a pack of their popular speckled egg cookies. They’re finally back in store in plenty of time for the upcoming spring season, and fans couldn’t be more excited.

Taking to Instagram to share the good news and posting a picture of the delicious-looking cookies, M&S said: “They’re chewy, they’re speckly and they’re back. Get ready to go crazy once again for our Speckled Egg Cookies, returning to our in-store bakeries from TODAY.

“These thick, sweet and seriously chunky cookies are guaranteed to become your next sweet treat obsession.

“Made with brown sugar and treacle for extra chewiness, they’re packed with milk and white chocolate, our iconic Speckled Eggs AND cornflake pieces. Absolutely egg-ceptional.”

They’re priced at around £3.25 for a pack of five, and you can pick them up from the bakery section in store. Taking to the comments, one excited fan wrote: “They are the best, just got mine.”

Another wrote: “Now these do look delish.” A third commented: “I tried these last year, they were pretty decent.”

And someone else tagged a friend and wrote: “We need these in our week! I’ll look out!”

Other new product launches from M&S this week include fluffy souffle pancakes, a salt and pepper chicken wrap, and seven-ingredient baked beans – which are perfect for anyone trying to cut down on their ultra-processed food intake.

Also on the theme of Easter, the retailer has also reintroduced its viral speckled egg crunchy chocolate bar, which flew off shelves last year.

Combining smooth milk chocolate with mini speckled eggs, crispy cornflakes, and crunchy corn pieces, it’s a unique Easter treat for anyone who fancies something a bit different rather than an egg this year.
