Princess Eugenie pictured the first time after Andrew’s humiliation | Royal | News

In pictures uploaded on Instagram by Finnish reporter Rita Tainola, who also attended the art event, Eugenie can be seen casually smiling and posing with others in Doha. The princess sported her signature smart casual style, wearing a black and white outfit, which consisted of a maxi skirt and a sleeveless top.

She finished the look with a pair of white trainers and a khaki jacket, while her hair was tied in the back.

Ms Tainola wrote on her Instagram: “By the way HRH princess Eugenie, Eugenie of York, is a very nice woman with good self confidence.”

This is the first time that Eugenie has been seen after the US Department of Justice released a new batch of files relating to Jeffrey Epstein.

Many of those documents featured Eugenie’s parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson.

Being mentioned in the Epstein files does not indicate wrongdoing; however, the repeated instances in which Andrew and Fergie have appeared showcased their level of association, which in turn has sparked public furore.

The latest drama resulted in Andrew leaving his home of more than 20 years, Royal Lodge, sooner than planned and being whisked away to Norfolk in the middle of the night.

Meanwhile, Eugenie’s sister, Beatrice, was also pictured carrying on with her job at this year’s World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.

This year’s meeting took place from January 19 to January 23 and centred on artificial intelligence (AI), with the theme “A Spirit in Dialogue”, just days before the Epstein files were released.
