Trump blasts Bad Bunny Super Bowl show with ‘immediate’ NFL demand | NFL | Sport

Donald Trump blasted Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl half-time show as a “slap in the face” to the United States of America in a scathing Truth Social rant. The President of the United States of America objected to the Puerto Rican’s selection ahead of the Big Game as he dubbed it “absolutely ridiculous.”

And it’s clear that the 79-year-old’s verdict didn’t change during or after the musician’s performance, which paid homage to his homeland from the outset and throughout. Taking to his social media platform, Trump wrote: “The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence.

“Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World. This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History!

“There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD — And, by the way, the NFL should immediately replace its ridiculous new Kickoff Rule. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

“Let’s rally together and show big corporations they can’t just do whatever they want without consequences (which equals viewership for them). You are their benefit. Realize you have power. Turn off this halftime. A fake American citizen performing who publicly hates America. I cannot support that.”

It comes as Bunny enlisted the help of a number of fellow celebrities and musicians alike during his stunning half-time show performance, with Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin joining the 31-year-old on the microphone, while the likes of Jessica Alba, Cardi B and Pedro Pascal also enjoyed brief cameos among others.
