BA pilot arrested over claims he secretly filmed sex sessions with up to 16 women | UK | News

A British Airways pilot has reportedly been arrested over allegations he secretly filmed sex sessions with up to 16 women. It is claimed that the unnamed pilot shared the footage online without the women’s consent.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed an investigation has been launched. Allegations against the pilot were made after partners and ex-partners learned footage of their sexual encounters had been shared on websites, according to reports. The accusations are purportedly from women aged 24 to 36.

The Sun reports it understands airline stewardesses warned each other of the pilot and his alleged secret filming plans.

The newspaper reports he is believed to have courted women from other airlines in hotels between flights.

According to The Sun, one alleged victim said: “I was being recorded during sexual encounters without my consent.

“I didn’t realise until another woman in the same position mentioned it to me.

“He would position his laptop with music on, but screen off, in front of us during sexual encounters. Now, footage has gone out online and it has emerged he was doing this to 15 other women.”

Another woman reportedly alleged he used tape to cover a light, which indicated the laptop’s camera was on.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on Thursday, 5 March, on suspicion of voyeurism.

“The arrest followed an allegation made to police on Tuesday, March 3, of videos being taken and distributed without consent. The man has been released on bail as enquiries continue.”

The Sun also reported that industry chiefs received reports of alleged cocaine use by the pilot.

A UK Civil Aviation Authority spokesman told The Sun: “We can’t comment on individual cases, but reports of substance misuse are being reviewed and any appropriate action will be taken.”

It is claimed the pilot, who is being offered wellbeing support, has been stood down and stopped from flying while the police investigation continues.

The Express has contacted British Airways for a statement.
