Sarah Ferguson pictured for first time in 7 months as hiding place finally unveiled | Royal | News

Sarah Ferguson has been pictured for the first time in seven months after she went into ‘hiding’ amid mounting pressure over he relationship to Jeffrey Epstein. The 66-year-old, who has not been pictured publicly since last year, has been seen at a luxury Alpine ski resort in Austria.

Dressed in an all-black outfit, Sarah was also seen trying to keep her identity private with a light-coloured cap. In exclusive pictures, which were obtained by The Sun, Sarah is seen emerging from a blacked-out Mercedes people carrier near her chalet on Wednesday.

She was last seen more than 200 days ago and has kept silent on calls to give evidence to US lawmakers on her Epstein links.

A source said last night: “Fergie has been keeping an incredibly low profile while high up in the Alps.

“She hasn’t been seen for a long time and has clearly wanted to keep it that way. Her choice of outfit when she popped out was obviously carefully chosen to help her avoid being recognised.

“The area is absolutely beautiful and it’s very quiet most of the time, so it’s the perfect place for a high-profile figure such as her to lie low when the heat is on.”

She was last seen attending the late Duchess of Kent’s funeral on September 16, 2025, although she is also known to have been in attendance at her youngest granddaughter Athena’s christening in December.

It has been reported that the former royal is said to have been laying “false breadcrumbs” to avoid being found.

Speculation grew over her whereabouts this year, with Australia, America and France noted as possible locations of where she has been living.

As well as being stripped of her Duchess of York title last year, she was also evicted from Royal Lodge alongside her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, earlier this year. Unlike his ex-wife, Andrew still remains in the UK and is living at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
