Sarah Ferguson ‘to become real thorn in crown’ | Royal | News

Sarah Ferguson is likely “to become a real thorn in the crown” for King Charles, Prince William and other members of the Royal Family, it is claimed today.

Ms Ferguson, who last year lost her title of the Duchess of York following the release of millions of documents related to paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein, is reportedly weighing up a controversial £1.3million return to public life as she considers a television documentary charting her story.

However, it is believed this could expose further allegations surrounding the Epstein files and invite intense scrutiny upon the Royal Family, including the monarch himself.

An insider said: “She and Prince Andrew had an open arrangement, so if she goes down, they all [several other royals] go down. She’s not as stupid as she makes out, and she’s been diligent about holding on to evidence and memorabilia. Sarah’s going to become a real thorn in the crown for King Charles III, Prince William, and especially Andrew.”

Numerous well-guarded secrets concerning certain royal family members could be brought to light should Ms Ferguson, 66, agree to the interview. Sky News reports that the mother of two, currently staying at a luxury ski chalet in Austria costing £2,000 per night, is indeed prepared to speak publicly about her connection to Epstein.

Fergie strenuously denies any wrongdoing. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has vehemently and repeatedly denied all allegations of sexual assault made against him by Virginia, as well as any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.

However, Ms Ferguson is alleged to have felt “‘incredibly betrayed” by members of the Royal Family amidst the scrutiny. The source, speaking to Sky News, added: “Sarah’s come out of shock and is now furious at what’s happened to her life. She wants to sit down and tell her side of her association with Epstein – and what she knew in hindsight about Andrew’s association. And she’s got a lot to tell.”

Mr Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of his royal titles and withdrew from public duties last year following the publication of millions of documents relating to paedophile financier Epstein.

While he now lives at Marsh Farm on the Sandringham Estate, Ms Ferguson’s location remained unknown until this week when she was photographed in Austria.

It is understood the author, who resided with Mr Mountbatten-Windsor for decades despite their divorce, has no immediate intentions to depart the chalet overseas. The resort, thought to be a small village, “has got everything you’d want for a lengthy stay,” according to an insider who spoke this week.
