Queen Camilla makes relatable admission as US state visit continues | Royal | News

However, while they were all smiles on the outside, it seems that being royal does not make you immune to the likes of jet lag – something Camilla admitted she is feeling.

As reported by People, while in the ambassador’s library for yesterday’s presentation, the Queen was asked about the flight.

She made a relatable admission but revealed she was feeling “slightly jet lagged”.

This is because there is a five-hour time difference between the UK and the East Coast of the US, meaning that tiredness was likely to have been felt by both Their Majesties as the day progressed.

Within the next few days, they will carry out engagements in Washington DC, New York and Virginia.

At the end of the US state visit, the King will fly to Bermuda, where he will carry out engagements over two days.

Queen Camilla will not accompany her husband to Bermuda.
