Trump tries to drag King into Iran war as he makes bold claim ‘Charles agrees with me’ | Royal | News

US President Donald Trump attempted to drag the King into the controversy over the war with Iran last night, during his speech at the state dinner.

His address to the 120 guests at the white-tie banquet, saw the President recall the history of the US before going onto discuss the current conflict in the Middle East.

The President said: “We have militarily defeated that particular opponent and we’re never going to let that opponent, and Charles agrees with me even more than I do, we’re never going to let that opponent have a nuclear weapon, they know that and they know that.

“And we are going to stand defiant and triumphant against the forces of communism, fascism, and tyranny.”
