Prince William and Princess Kate given boost as voters give one overwhelming verdict | Royal | News

A recent poll conducted by the Daily Express suggests overwhelming public confidence in the future of the monarchy under Prince William, the Prince of Wales and Catherine, the Princess of Wales.

The survey, which gathered 1,666 responses, found that an impressive 90.6% of participants (1,510 voters) believe the couple will make good king and queen. In contrast, only 124 people (7.4%) expressed doubt, while a small minority of 32 respondents (1.9%) said they were unsure.

The results highlight a significant level of public trust in the Prince and Princess of Wales as they assume more prominent roles within the Royal Family.

While opinion polls do not necessarily reflect the views of the entire population, the scale of support in this survey is notable.

It suggests that, at least among those who participated, there is a clear sense of confidence in the couple’s ability to guide the monarchy in the years ahead.

Having been by her husband’s side for more than two decades, since their first meeting in the early 2000s at university, Princess Catherine is often praised for how well she has adapted to her role as a member of the Royal Family.

While Catherine has not publicly addressed the future that awaits them, Prince William has said he plans to make changes in his role as King.

Speaking publicly last year, William suggested that change will be on his agenda, hinting that he has a plan in place for his time as monarch.

With regard to his change agenda, William said: “I embrace that and I enjoy that change – I don’t fear it. That’s the bit that excites me, is the idea of being able to bring some change. Not overly radical change, but changes that I think that need to happen.”

The couple are also currently dedicated to their roles in the monarchy, as well as to ensuring that Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis experience as normal a childhood as possible.
