Russian state TV has called for the British Embassy in Kyiv to be targeted as Vladimir Putin plots the biggest attack of the war with Ukraine. Sickening comments from propagandist and presenter Olga Skabeeva listed the embassy’s address amongst other key buildings in the Ukrainian capital.
“In the event of a provocation, the entire government quarter and the Verkhovna Rada [parliament] will come under a strike”, said Skabeeva, known as Putin’s “Iron Doll”. “A little further on Volodymyrska Street, 33, is the SBU [Ukrainian secret service] building.”

She added: “Diplomats from London are based on Desyatynna Street, in the most densely populated Shevchenkivskyi district of the Ukrainian capital.”
Skabeeva also name checked the embassies of the US, Germany, Canada, Poland and France.
The Kremlin also urged the evacuation of foreign diplomats and civilians from Kyiv if Volodymyr Zelensky carries out a threat to fly his military drones to Putin’s Victory Day parade on Red Square in Moscow on Saturday.
The Defence Ministry said late today: “We also remind that if the Kyiv regime attempts to disrupt the celebrations of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War [WW2] in Moscow, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will launch a massive missile strike on the centre of Kyiv.
“Once again, we warn the civilian population of Kyiv and employees of foreign diplomatic missions of the need to leave the city in a timely manner.”
Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zhakharova warned Western and other states “to ensure the timely evacuation from the city of Kyiv of personnel from diplomatic and other missions, as well as citizens”.
They should take “very, very seriously the defence ministry’s threat of the inevitability of a retaliatory strike by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on Kyiv, including against decision-making centres, should the Kyiv regime carry out its criminal terrorist plans”.
She said the warning “must not be ignored”, claiming Russia was acting after a threat by Zelensky to send his drones to the May 9 military parade on Red Square.
Another pundit on the Kremlin-paid state TV broadcast, Konstantin Knyryk, head of sanctioned outlet News Front, threatened to kill Zelensky on Rstate TV.
He said: “Our target for strikes [in Kyiv] is Bankova Street, the Soviet-era buildings used by Zelensky, including the bunker where he hides.
“Even if he is not there, it is obvious that if our strike is effective and delivers results, everyone will understand that we are capable of reaching him in any other bunker, at any moment.
“Confirmation that our warnings are being taken seriously in Ukraine is the multiple sharp increase in the cost of short-term rental housing in western Ukraine.”
