The Humber Bridge is blocked as a huge bus fire sparks major traffic delays on the A15 in Yorkshire. Emergency services are at the scene of a bus fire on the A15 between Burton and Hessle.
There is queueing traffic and there is no access to the bridge. Passengers were evacuated by the driver after smoke was detected on the bus, a Stagecoach spokesperson said. The spokesperson also said that they “are not aware of any reported injuries”.
The lane for traffic coming across to the East Riding from North East Lincs is now open, according to the latest info from the scene.
