UK fashion giant with 338 shops to close another store in May | UK | News

New Look has confirmed the closure of its Dungannon store in Northern Ireland later this month. The Scotch Street outlet will shut its doors for the final time on May 25, with staff expressing their gratitude to customers for their loyalty and support throughout the years.

The announcement has dealt a blow to the Co Tyrone town, with shoppers taking to social media to describe it as a “sad day” and a sign of the decline of a “once thriving” town centre. Customers will no longer be able to collect online orders from the store and have until May 25 to retrieve or return any parcels.

New Look Dungannon released a statement on social media, saying: “After many years of serving our amazing community, we’re sharing the news that our store will be closing its doors on Monday 25th May.”

“While this chapter is coming to an end, you can still visit your nearest stores in Cookstown, Armagh, and Craigavon, where the teams will be more than happy to welcome you.

“You can no longer order online to pick up in Dungannon store, remaining parcels can be collected and returned up until Monday 25th May. Thank you again for being part of our journey.”

LK Bennett started closing stores at the beginning of the year and announced a final sale last week, offering up to 90% off certain items.

LK Bennett’s website says that both the “website and phone orders have now ended,” but if shoppers “have placed an order, this will still be processed as normal”.
