Virgin Media is reportedly down for hundreds of users as customers report problems with the TV. Tracking service Downdetector shows the number of reported issues with the service spiking at around 10.42am on Thursday. Another similar site, GeoBlackout, recorded 233 complaints as of 11.24am.
Frustrated customers have taken to social media to voice their annoyance at the problems, with one person reportedly having issues with their TV. An X user by the name of Mr Nash said he tried to check the service in his area but was unable to, attaching a picture of his TV screen that shows the picture breaking up.
A Virgin Media spokesperson said: “We’re aware that some customers are currently experiencing pixelation issues with their television services and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Our teams are working as a priority to identify the fault and restore services to normal as soon as possible.”
