Trump health fears as ‘unwell’ Don claims he’d win California ‘if Jesus counted votes’ | World | News

US President Donald Trump has sparked health fears after making a bizarre Jesus Christ claim and appearing to mix up former presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama. Mr Trump was asked about the upcoming California elections.

A reporter asked: “Do you see yourself in him at all? A former DTV star?” The US President answered: “Oh, I’d like to see him do well. He’s a character. I don’t know. I don’t know. I assume he probably supports me. This is important. So? I think so, yeah, I already does. I heard he’s a big Mac guy person.

“He’s doing well. I don’t know. If you have a rigged vote out there, that’s the problem. The votes are rigged. You have a really big vote in California. You have all the melon balance, everything else.

“Very hard to win, because… they’re very dishonest. If we had Jesus Christ come down and count the votes, I would have won California. Because I do great with Hispanics, but it’s a rigged vote.

“They said that 38 million votes, nobody knows where they’re going. Of course, the Democrats, uh, proportionally Democrats get many more votes. Some get eight votes. Eight cards. Republicans have to call in, where’s my card? It’s a rigged system. One of the most, not the worst, I’ll give you a list. Maybe I’ll do it on my list. But it’s California’s one of the most dishonest states for money.”

California’s 2026 election cycle is in full swing, with the June 2 statewide primary just days away and major developments unfolding in the governor’s race, voter deadlines, and down‑ballot contests.

The online community was quick enough to react on the bizarre statement.

One of the social media users wrote: “Funny he’d be cool with a dead guy who resurrects the dead for a living being the one to make sure dead people aren’t voting.”

Another user commented: “My god, he’s clearly insane. Congress, do your constitutional duty and remove him.”

A third user wrote: “Trump accusing Christ of cheating shouldn’t sit well with Christians.”
