Armed police have been spotted on a road in Whitefield, in Greater Manchester. Witnesses said officers swarmed an area of Bury New Road in the UK town on Friday afternoon, May 22.
Images taken at the scene show armed police in the area, with a number of Greater Manchester Police (GMP) vehicles blocking the road, the MEN reports. Ambulances were also spotted on the road, and an air ambulance was seen in Victoria Park, just off Jackson Street.
