– A three-vehicle crash has caused major disruption on the M56 eastbound this afternoon between junction 14 near Chester Services/Helsby and junction 12 near Runcorn
-Emergency services were called to the motorway at around 3.07pm on Wednesday, May 27
-Cheshire Police there were reports of minor injuries and an ambulance attended the scene
-All traffic was temporarily held on the eastbound carriageway while emergency crews responded to the incident
– The roadblock was lifted at around 3.35pm, however there are sginificant delays of over an hour
– National Highways has confirmed the damaged vehicles have been moved onto the hard shoulder and are awaiting recovery
