French Open LIVE: Top stars accused of rule breaches as every Brit out | Tennis | Sport

Jannik Sinner has found himself at the centre of a storm following his second-round exit at the French Open.

Sinner used a time-out to return to the air-conditioned dressing room amid the sweltering heat in the French capital.

However, many believe it was misused, and Sinner was only cramping up, not genuinely hurt.

Speaking to the Tennis Channel, Jim Courier said: “This is unfair for Cerundolo. This is not an injury. He should be getting penalised for this. It’s clearly cramping.

“The rules are being bent for the top players. You cannot tell me you have to take him off court to see what his vital signs are like. This is absolute baloney.”
