A former CIA “psychic spy” claims to have identified the exact coordinates of several highly classified alien bases concealed beneath the Earth’s surface. Lyn Buchanan, a decorated Army intelligence veteran, made the astonishing disclosures on the American Alchemy podcast.
He alleged that the extraterrestrial facilities lie buried deep within isolated mountain ranges, operating as interplanetary surveillance hubs, UFO maintenance depots, and cosmic transit points. At the height of the Cold War, Buchanan served within a highly secretive military research unit examining whether human consciousness could be harnessed as a tool for long-range espionage.
According to the veteran, these sites were first uncovered in 1973 by a former police officer turned trailblazing remote viewer named Pat Price.
The US Government subsequently launched “Project 8200” to establish whether independent psychics could verify Price’s extraordinary findings.
Buchanan was tasked with monitoring four principal targets: Mount Hayes in Alaska, Mount Zeil in Australia, Mount Nyangani in Zimbabwe, and a location in the Pyrenees Mountains along the Spanish-French border.

According to Buchanan, each base serves a distinct purpose. The first site, concealed within Alaska’s Mount Hayes, functions as a vast global surveillance centre.
When questioned about its function, Buchanan explained it was for: “Keeping intelligence on the Earth… just collecting data and signals and all that.” While earlier psychics have reported seeing humans and aliens working together, Buchanan noted that the personnel had departed when he performed his remote viewing.
He explained, “I did Mount Hayes and found out that the equipment was now automated and still running, but there was no need for personnel there.”
Meanwhile, the installation at Australia’s Mount Zeil purportedly controls cosmic traffic. Buchanan described it as a bustling extraterrestrial airport.
The psychic spy insists he has new info about alien activity on Earth.
However, don’t attempt to locate it, as the ex-CIA operative warned the site is heavily protected, suggesting a dark reason for local disappearances. He explained: “You see too much. You disappear.”
Buchanan admitted he never actually viewed the final site in the Pyrenees. He explained: “I never did the one that was in the Pyrenees, so I’m not sure about it.”
The extraordinary claims formed part of the CIA’s infamous “STARGATE” project, which was ultimately shut down in 1995 after being deemed operationally worthless. Sceptics highlight there is zero public evidence confirming the bases exist.
Nonetheless, Buchanan remains adamant that several psychics produced identical drawings of the installations without prior knowledge of the targets. He added: “See, I did all these blind.” He stated: “Mount Zeil is sort of a port of entry to the Earth that friendly ones go there and then from there spread out around the world.”
The facility reportedly houses several underground levels, including a spaceship docking bay and a mechanics’ workshop beneath.
During one remarkable psychic session, Buchanan claimed the alien occupants became aware they were being watched. He stated: “In the area where the travellers go in and out, I saw a grey female with a baby grey.”
The third location, nestled within Zimbabwe’s Mount Nyangani, was described as a specialist maintenance facility. When pressed on precisely what was being repaired deep within the mountain, Buchanan stated: “For ETs. For UFOs.”
