Kim Kardashian will be cheering on Lewis Hamilton at the Monaco Grand Prix this Sunday. The 41-year-old is chasing his first win with Ferrari following a second-place finish at the recent Canadian GP.
Kim, 45, has already turned heads since arriving on the French Riviera. Her visit to support Lewis in Monaco comes hot on the heels of the reality TV star making their relationship ‘Instagram official’. The SKIMS founder shared a photo and video earlier this week of the couple beaming while cycling together, in a low-key announcement of their blossoming romance. The pair have reportedly been an item since the beginning of the year, having been spotted together on New Year’s Eve and again at the Super Bowl in February.
Kim’s appearance in Monaco marks the first time she has attended an F1 race since her relationship with the seven-time world champion began. Lewis qualified in third place on Saturday, behind Red Bull‘s Max Verstappen and Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli.
Hamilton first spent time with Kendall, alongside other friends, during the Monaco GP in 2015. The pair were subsequently spotted together in both London and New York later that year, though Lewis swiftly dismissed any speculation of a romantic connection.
“Me and Kendall have been friends for a while, so we’re just friends,” Lewis told E! in September 2015. “She’s doing incredible, she’s very focused, very level-headed, and she’s just – for such a young woman, she’s very grown up.”
The two clearly kept their friendship alive, as Lewis drove Kendall around the F1 circuit in Miami two years ago. He took her for a spin in a Mercedes-Benz AMG GT around the Miami International Autodrome.
More than a decade on from Kendall’s Monaco trip, it is now Kim who will be trackside, hoping to spur Lewis on to glory. The F1 legend last clinched victory at the Monaco GP back in 2019.
Lewis was photographed alongside Kim and her three youngest children at a Los Angeles restaurant in May, with Kim’s mother Kris Jenner also joining the family gathering.
On the track, Lewis has shown improvement during his second campaign with Ferrari. The former world champion has secured two podium finishes from five races, though he remains in pursuit of his maiden victory with the Italian outfit.
