Temperatures are due to soar once again in the coming weeks as parts of the UK hit 30C. New maps from Netweather revealed that sunny conditions are due to come back to the country on June 23 – just under a fortnight’s time.
An impressive 14 counties are forecast to see temperatures over 25C, from Lincolnshire in the Midlands to Hampshire in the south. London is expected to be the hottest area of the UK, reaching 30C by 6pm, and other hot areas include East Sussex, Kent, and Cambridgeshire.
Separately, the Met Office forecast for June 16 to 25 reads: “A changeable period is likely through the middle of next week with outbreaks of rain focused across the north and northwest, some of which could spread to parts of the south and southeast at times.
“Into the following weekend, high pressure will probably become more dominant with conditions turning more widely dry and settled, and probably very warm for many, especially in the south.”
