A multi-vehicle crash has prompted severe delays on a stretch of a motorway near a UK airport. Traffic came to a standstill on the M11 southbound between junctions J9 and J8, near Stansted Airport.
National Highways urged motorists to seek alternative routes, warning of 75-minute delays and seven miles of congestion as emergency services responded to the incident.
