Lena Elizabeth Tindall is celebrating her seventh birthday today. Despite being only eight years old, Zara and Mike Tindall’s youngest daughter stands as a member of one of the world’s most famous families – although she has been shielded from the spotlight for most of her life.
The young royal – who is a sister to 11-year-old Mia and five-year-old Lucas – was born on June 18, 2018 at Stroud Maternity Unit in Gloucestershire. Her name was publicly revealed just over a week after her birth – with her middle name paying homage to the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Lena pictured with her cousins Isla and Savannah Phillips
Prior to Zara’s pregnancy with Lena, the royal had been pregnant and was due in spring 2017. However, in December 2016, it was announced the couple had lost their baby. Zara’s pregnancy with Lena was announced in early 2018. Here she is pictured with two of her cousins, Peter Phillips’ daughters Isla and Savannah, now aged 14 and 15.

Lena pictured with Princess Charlotte in 2022
Lena was spotted making faces to Charlotte, now aged 11, during events for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022. Mike previously spoke of the close bond between his children – including Mia and Lucas – and Prince George, Princess Charlotte [pictured] and Prince Louis. Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, Lena’s father said: “Lena and obviously Louis are similar ages and Mia’s sort of in between Charlotte and George, and then you’ve got Peter’s children Savannah and Isla who are just a little bit older. James [Prince Edward’s son] is, well not exactly the ring leader, but he’s the oldest. So, yeah, it’s going to be a good little group.”
