Mercury retrograde began last month and will, unfortunately, be continuing well into July, and it won’t be the only planet in retrograde, with three others joining Mercury throughout the month. Astrologer Inbaal Honigman says: “In July of 2026, there are four retrogrades, which means that four planets will be turning backwards, and each of them influences different walks of life.
“Delays and mix ups around communication will appear until July 23, courtesy of the Mercury retrograde, and the main victims will be Gemini, Cancer and Virgo. There are uncomfortable meetings with memories from days past for Scorpio and Aquarius during the Pluto retrograde, all month long. Saturn retrograde will start on the 26th, interrupting the good fortunes of Aries, Aquarius and Capricorn. And it is Neptune planet of dreams that turns retrograde on 7/7 and this will destabilise Aries and Pisces.”
Aries: March 21 to April 19
Two retrogrades will cause some confusion for you this month, Aries. During the entire month, Neptune, the planet of illusion, is in Aries, which turns July into a dream, but then it starts a retrograde on 7/7, and the dream can become a nightmare when unfinished stories from the past float back into the present. This could take the shape of forgotten exes, old jobs, former housemates, because you love leaving the past where it belongs – in the past, but Neptune retrograde won’t let you. In addition, Saturn, the planet of karma, turns backwards in Aries on the 26th, which means that your mistakes and accidents would be immature, rookie errors, like forgetting to hang up the phone before criticising the speaker.
Taurus: April 20 to May 20
