Prince George leaves Princess Charlotte in stitches at Wimbledon | Royal | News

Princess Charlotte and mum Princess Catherine erupted into giggles when Prince George attempted to shelter from the sun at Wimbledon this afternoon. The future King placed a branded Wimbledon hat on his head and laughed while adjusting it.

His sister and mum appeared to find it amusing, as they were pictured laughing while he turned up the edges and tried to put it in a more flattering position. Charlotte, who had her own All England Club hat secured perfectly on her head, placed her hand over her mouth as she got the giggles while looking at her brother.

The Princess of Wales was also spotted laughing as her firstborn fiddled with the cap. George didn’t keep the hat on his head for very long, and soon switched to an electric handheld fan.

This year’s Wimbledon final saw highs of 29C, with Charlotte keeping cool with a traditional handheld fan and sunglasses.

Mum Catherine was pictured holding the same handheld fan as her son.

The royal party were on their feet clapping after Sinner successfully defended his title, who collapsed in a heap in the court after winning three back-to-back sets despite Zverev clinching the first.

After the world No. 1 finished his celebrations, Catherine walked onto Centre Court to present the impressive trophy, stopping to shake hands with the ball boys and girls on her way.

Zverev gave a slight bow to the princess as he accepted his runners-up trophy and the court erupted when Sinner walked over to receive the trophy.

She congratulated him on another impressive win, prompting the player to reach out for a handshake.
