The bodies of three people have been found inside a family home in Ballymena, Co Antrim, the Police Service of Northern Ireland has said. The three people were related and were found inside the family home this morning in the Old Cullybackey Road area of Ballymena.
Officers are currently at the scene in Ballymena and have closed Old Cullybackey Road. Diversions have been put in place at the junctions of Innisowen Park and Cullybackey Road. The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) say there is no ongoing risk to the public.
In an update this afternoon, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Police are investigating the circumstances after three people were found dead in the Old Cullybackey Road area of Ballymena this morning, Monday 13th July.
The three people were related and found inside the family home. There is no ongoing risk to the public. A further update will follow in due course.”
Crime Scene Investigators have been seen at the scene where a large police cordon is in place.
