Prince William has doubts about whether his brother can be “trusted”, according to royal expert Kinsey Schofield. Ms Schofield, as reported by Page Six, said the future king’s priority is “protecting the institution he’ll one day inherit” and that he understands King Charles’ desire for a reunion with Prince Harry, Meghan and their children at Highgrove.
She said: “In his mind, the issue has never been whether Harry is family; it’s whether Harry can be trusted. One afternoon at Highgrove doesn’t answer that question. King Charles can afford to think about legacy. Prince William has to think about longevity.” The brothers avoided crossing paths during Harry’s UK visit, appearing at separate events miles apart. Sources emphasise the brief family meeting does not erase years of alleged betrayals or rebuild confidence.
