Bruno Mars has finally arrived in the UK. The American singer, best known for such major songs as ’24K Magic’ and ‘Uptown Funk’ walked through the doors of Wembley Stadium over the weekend to kick off his residency spot. Here, he’ll be playing a total of six shows at the 90,000-capacity venue.
On Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19, Bruno Mars delivered his first two gigs of the residency. And while many fans have been speculating what the star might play at the country’s biggest stadium, he delivered a comprehensive and extensive setlist full of his older hits, some new stand-outs from his latest album and indeed some fan-favourites.
Included in the incredible 26-song line-up of tracks are some of the usual suspects that one might expect.
Bruno Mars played some hugely popular songs such as Versace on the Floor, Uptown Funk, Dance With Me, Marry You and more.
But, on top of that, he delivered a lot of entries from his new album, The Romantic.
It’s no surprise, considering the American star is celebrating the release of his fourth studio album with this very tour.
As a result, he opened the night with three major songs from the album. As he hit the stage in his Cadillac, the 40-year-old delivered ‘Risk It All’, ‘Cha Cha Cha’ and ‘On My Soul’.
He then kicked off some old classics with ’24K Magic’ and ‘Treasure’.
