M6 traffic LIVE: Drivers face ‘severe’ 2hr delays and 9 mile queues | UK | News

Drivers on a busy stretch of the M6 have been warned they face huge two hour delays and up to nine miles of traffic following a “significant offal spillage”. Several lanes have been shut on the M6 northbound between junctions 14 and 15 near Stafford.

National Highways said in an update: Lanes 2, 3, and 4 (of 4) are closed on the M6 northbound between J14 and J15 due to a significant offal spillage. Specialist cleaning crews have been requested. Traffic can still pass the scene of the incident in lane 1. The incident is causing severe delays of up to 120 minutes between J12 and J15 of the M6 with very heavy congestion for up to 9 miles. If this incident impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey.
