Positive psychology researcher and author, Michelle Gielan, joins TODAY to discuss her new book “Resilient Optimism: The Science of Sustaining a Positive Mindset in Tough Times” and shares ways to train a positive mindset. “We’re just seeing everyone start to go quiet as a result of the noise around us,” adding that when implementing optimist, “We’re actually sending signals, evidence to other people that progress is possible and that our behavior makes a difference.
