Beatrice and Eugenie’s Epstein nightmare – £3.5k flights to ‘sh***ing weekend’ | Royal | News

This was to the extent that he had seen the princesses, along with their mother Sarah Ferguson, just days after his prison release. While Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, have not commented on the Epstein files, they are likely unhappy that their names are being mentioned.

One of the emails mentioning the royals was in 2009, when Epstein received a message from Lesley Groff, his personal assistant.

The email was discussing flights that Epstein was buying for Sarah, Eugenie and Beatrice.

The email reportedly read: “Regarding the flights for The Duchess and the girls from Heathrow to Miami and from NY to Heathrow: we were able to get the girls on Economy round trip and The Duchess on Business round trip!

“The girls flights total arc [sic]: $4835.94 and The Duchess’ flights total: $9244.16. Do I have your permission to purchase these tickets!?”

Epstein gave permission to purchase plane tickets for the mother and her daughters.

Other emails, released in the Epstein files, show Sarah giving Epstein personal details about Eugenie. She wrote: “Just waiting for Eugenie to come back from a sh*****g weekend.”

Epstein also seemed keen to be in touch with Beatrice and Eugenie, asking Sarah in 2010 if he could say hello to them while visiting London.

It is believed the princesses had been around Epstein a number of times, either with their father Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor or their mother Sarah Ferguson – both of whom were friends with the convicted paedophile.

The princesses may not have commented on the Epstein files, however it is believed they feel humiliated by their parents.

A friend of the sisters told The Daily Mail: “They [Beatrice and Eugenie] are aghast at what they have read. They are mortified by the emails their mother has sent to Epstein. It is so embarrassing for them.”
