A body has been recovered in the search for a man who went missing while hiking in the Highlands.
The family of 36-year-old Adam Chalmers, who had been reported missing in the Ben Lawers mountain range, have been made aware. The body was recovered in the An Stac area at around 1.25pm on Sunday.
Mr Chalmers’ family said they wished to thank Police Scotland, Tayside Mountain Rescue, RAF Mountain Rescue and all the agencies involved in the searches.
Mr Chalmers was last heard from at 12.40pm on Saturday in the Ben Lawers mountain range.
He had planned to scale the Meall Greigh, Meall Garbh, and An Stuc munros, and in his last message he said he had one left to complete.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
