Breeds from the Working Group will take to the green carpet in the Main Arena at 6.25pm on Thursday.
This group consists entirely of large to giant breeds and has a variety of coat types depending on their country of origin and the jobs they were bred for.
They include breeds such as the Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute, Rottweiler, Dobermann, Great Dane, Newfoundland, and Portuguese Water Dog.
They are all hard-working breeds that were developed for specialist, non-herding roles, primarily the protection of people, livestock or property. Some were also called upon to pull sledges or carts.
This category has produced five ‘Best in Shows’ in Crufts history, but none have claimed the top spot since 2008. Last year’s winner of the Working Group was a Tibetan Mastiff, Dzhozias Viking (Mr V Molnar), known as Viking.
