DIY three-ingredient face mask promises to deliver a ‘radiant, wrinkle-free glow’

Skincare and beauty treatments can be expensive, but it doesn’t have to be, according to one expert.

In fact, this simple recipe is a refreshing reminder that certain skincare items can be made at home for next to nothing.

Vibha Gambhir, a beauty expert at Gambhir Cosmetic Medicine, claims her homemade mask recipe can achieve that “radiant, wrinkle-free glow”.

She said: “This three-ingredient face mask is my go-to for smooth, hydrated and luminous skin.

“It’s natural, easy to make, and delivers results you’ll swear rivals Botox.”

The expert explained that her straightforward method starts with milk.

Start by pouring a glass of milk into a bowl which forms the base. According to the pro, it’s packed with lactic acid to gently exfoliate the skin.

The beauty expert said: “Next, add four heaped tablespoons of cornflour. It’s widely available, and gives the mask its creamy texture.”

If you’re out of cornflour, rice flour works just as well, according to the pro.

Finish the homemade mask with a teaspoon of olive oil which is good for its hydrating properties.

Vinha added: “It’s especially good for locking in moisture during the colder months.

“Once mixed, apply the mask evenly to a clean face. Let it work its magic for about 20 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water.”

The expert claims that the combination of these simple ingredients helps to exfoliate and brighten the skin as well as smooth fine lines and improve elasticity.

She continued: “It’s like giving your skin a big drink of hydration. A mask like this is brilliant for counteracting those effects.

“Plus, the glow it gives you is perfect for the party season. If your skin feels like it’s rebelling right now, you’re not alone.”

The expert also recommended incorporating vitamin D into your diet to help the skin balance within the winter months.

Make sure to consult a GP or dermatologist before drastically changing your skincare routine to find what works best for you.
