Epstein ‘invited Andrew to meet friend’ 3 years after ‘cut off’ | Royal | News

A bombshell email in the Epstein files has shown that late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein could still have been in touch with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor three years after the former prince once claimed their friendship had ended. In the latest batch of files released, an email was found between Epstein and one of Andrew’s aides in 2013 – three years after Andrew famously claimed he stopped talking to the paedophile.

While other emails in the files have shown that Andrew and Epstein kept in touch after their last known face-to-face meeting in 2010, this email is especially shocking as it shows Epstein inviting Andrew to meet a woman.

The email, sent from Epstein to Andrew’s aide David Stern in October 2013, read: “I have a very beautiful friend comoing [sic] to london on tues. Andrew might want to have her for a dinner.”

It is believed Stern was a go-between for Andrew and Epstein’s communications, especially as more people were aware of the fact Epstein had been convicted for child sex offences.

It is not known whether Andrew ever did meet Epstein’s “beautiful friend”, the BBC reports.

Another email shows that Stern invited Epstein to a dinner at Windsor Castle in 2017, showing that communication carried on for some time.

This invite was sent to Epstein long after his release from prison.

It is believed Epstein declined this invite, even though he was still in contact with Andrew at the time.

Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing or accusations.

It is important to note that appearing in the Epstein files does not indicate wrongdoing.
