Meghan Markle‘s latest special has landed on Netflix and, as usual, sees her showcasing her entertaining skills but with a “holiday” twist. With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration once again sees the duchess welcoming a random selection of celebrities and friends to the house she rents to film in (because heaven forbid she should make a mess in her Montecito mansion).
As usual, she makes her guests participate in cooking and arts and crafts while they share anecdotes, and she gushes over every single detail, almost managing to avoid mentioning the word Christmas throughout (she uses it only once). Predictably, her husband Prince Harry also makes a cameo appearance – just to reinforce her royal credentials. While the episode amps up the saccharine (well, it is the holidays), it also proved rather revealing as she attempted to bond with her visitors. Scratching beneath the chit chat, there were several bombshell revelations. Here are our top five.

5. Meghan is not as perfect as she would have us believe
While Meghan would have us believe she lives a picture-perfect life and portrays herself as an accomplished, self-made woman, she admitted that there is one area of life in which she has failed spectacularly.
Speaking to tennis star Naomi Osaka as they painted plates, she told the four-time Grand Slam winner: “My mum found an old report card of mine, and on the report card in the physical education part, ability to catch or throw a ball was not applicable. They couldn’t even give me a grade.”

4. She loves Christmas crackers
My gob was well and truly smacked to learn that Americans don’t really have Christmas Crackers. However, Meghan has taken it upon herself to rectify this. Alongside New York restaurateur Will Guidara, she claims to love the festive tradition.
She gushes that people pull them around the dinner table and says they often do the crackers with their arms crossed in front of their bodies, to which he exclaimed: “That’s awesome!”
She even seems to love the “fortune cookie-sized” cheesy jokes that come with the crackers. They gushed about how crackers created a sense of community before she, of course, forced Will to join her as they made their own. This is also the only part of the show where she actually uses the word Christmas.

2. She recycles her evening wear
Although she has never been seen in the same outfit twice on the red carpet, Meghan breaks that tradition in her special. Possibly in an attempt to prove she is relatable, she rewears a one-shoulder emerald green silk Galvan gown, which was first seen in a photoshoot she did for Variety magazine in 2022. Lest you were wondering, her spokesperson has denied she got the $1,695 emerald-green “Ushuaia” dress for free.
