How do I find rare coins in my wallet?
Coins with limited mintage often find their way into circulation, so it’s always a good idea to check your change for anything unusual before spending it. You might also want to look for coins in less frequented places, such as abandoned houses and under bridges.
Using a metal detector could help you strike gold and oining a coin swap community, as well as hiring an expert to value your finds could also be beneficial.
Alternatively, keep an eye on auctions or even eBay, where some of the rarest coins are often sold. We’ve seen unique designs sell for hundreds and even thousands online.
