‘I make £10k a month cleaning out people’s bins – it’s so simple’

A man has alleged that he rakes in a whopping £10,000 per month doing one cleaning task that nobody else wants to do.

Taking to TikTok, @thebinguy.br showed a clip of him cleaning out people’s bins, saying that if he cleans 125 bins a day, which isn’t an impossible task, at £4 a pop, he can make £10,750 a month.

While there were many sceptics in the comments questioning how he’d manage to clean that many bins, he simply retorted saying it’s “easy to sit behind a keyboard and hate”.

Captioning his short clip, “Hold my beer,” he wanted to let others know that there are other ways to make a living than sitting at a desk and typing away.

Someone fumed that he wasn’t a “fool” so didn’t believe what the entrepreneur was claiming, but others said, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything”.

Fans of the cleaner wrote comments like: “What I don’t understand why people are being so horrible. Well done, my brother; I hope God gives you more, and you stay working.”

Someone else said: “Why are people hating I think is a really good business idea. Don’t people appreciate hard work anymore. We all need to be more supportive and encouraging.”

But others were not as encouraging, wondering why people would pay him to have his bins cleaned.

One man said: “I wouldn’t pay to have my bin cleaned it belongs to the council.” The original posted replied: “So would you not clean your rented house?, with some saying that he “has a fair point”.

A window cleaner came into the comments, also claiming that he manages to pull in £1,000 every day he works, thanks to the rate at which he works.

Another pointed out: “Even if he does half of that amount, it’s still £5,375 a month just for cleaning bins.”

“Who even gets a bin cleaned? It’s a bin. Why?”, a TikTok user seethed. “Hygiene,” the original poster wrote.

A fellow bin cleaner penned: “I’m a bin cleaner and it is possible to do 125 bins a day I don’t have that many but my busy day 110 and I’m back home at 2 o’clock at £4.00 per bin.”

@thebinguy.br responded: “People will never understand mate, dry easy to sit behind a keyboard and doubt, keep smashing it, brother”.
