An iconic UK shopping street will become a ‘festive mile’ as cars are banned today ahead of the Christmas period.
Regent Street in London will be a shopper’s paradise from 2pm until 9pm on Saturday (December 6). A number of activities and shops will be available for visitors, including a party bus.
Three vintage red buses will be parked up. One will host a The Spirit of Christmas Selfie Station with stunning angel light displays.
Another will have a disco and lights, while the third bus will be an arts and crafts haven, giving you the chance to make wreaths and wrap presents.
The wrapping station is also completely free. You just have to show a receipt from a Regent Street or St James’s store.
The last time Regent Street was closed for traffic to celebrate the festive period was back in 2020.
A number of stores also have special events and offers.
NEOM will roll out a spin-to-win wheel with lots of goodies up for grabs.
Marc Jacobs is having an exclusive in their shop with a DJ set and drinks.
66°North is giving out drinks to customers, and Bentley’s is offering mulled wine and other festive treats with carol music to boot.
Regent Street is also a stone’s throw from Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.
