The two admitted that the royals asked for already uploaded photos them to be taken down, despite previously giving permission to use. The sisters spilled detials all about the behind-the-scenes drama of what they’re calling “photogate”.
Speaking of how the pair know Meghan Markle, Kim explained: “Mum and Meghan have been friends for some years now. They have a really sweet relationship.”
One social media user wrote on X: “Notice how they specify that she is, or was, I wouldn’t be friends with her after that, friends with Kris, and not them. They do not like her.”
Another social media user said: “It’s telling when Kim says she’s their mother’s friend and not theirs.”
A third added: “I also noticed that they said Meghan is Kris’s friend. Not theirs.”
One said: “So Kim and Khloe didn’t regard Meghan Markle as their own friend.”
Kim explained the reasoning behind the disappearance of her posted photos: “We were told that it was totally cool to post. And then after it was posted, I think they realised it was Remembrance Day, and they didn’t want to be seen at a party, even though it’s already up, you know, and then taken down. And then I think they realised, like, ‘Oh, this was so silly.'”
The star-studded bash was James Bond themed in November 2025, at Jeff Bezos’ Beverley Hills estate, with singer Mariah Carey, Adele, Justin Bieber and Snoop Dogg among those in attendance.
The couple appeared in pictures shared by the Kardashian and Jenner family on Instagram before the posts were mysteriously deleted just days after the celebrations.
