Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton are the latest celebrity pairing making headlines – and the reality television personality is reported to have a rather playful moniker for the racing driver. The pair have been spotted spending time together this week, with romantic evenings in the Cotswolds, London and Paris. As they continue developing their romantic connection, the entrepreneur’s confidante has disclosed private details about their relationship.
Despite one insider suggesting the Formula One champion isn’t seeking commitment, the source revealed Kim’s pet name for Lewis – and it harks back to her history. Kim reportedly calls him ‘her Russell Wilson’. The comparison alludes to the American football player married to singer, Ciara Wilson, who had previously been in a relationship with rapper Future. Associates claim Kim views Lewis as a ‘sophisticated upgrade’ from former spouse Kanye West.
Kim and the musician now legally known as Ye were married between 2014 and 2021. They have four children together and are understood to navigate a complicated co-parenting arrangement.
The source added that Kim is apprehensive about how her former partner will perceive her prospective new romance with Lewis given his previous links to the sporting icon. Speaking to the Mail, an insider revealed: “They are concerned about what Kanye would think about this, since he was friends with Lewis in the past.
“Granted, Kim obviously has to live for herself now and her own needs, but she doesn’t want to make this look like she is poking the bear. They both know that this could trigger Kanye in so many ways, so that is another reason that they are using kid gloves with this hookup and currently not making it any more than just fun.”
Kim and Lewis initially crossed paths years ago when they both attended GQ’s 2014 Men of the Year Awards. At that time, they were both snapped with their respective partners, Ye and Nicole Scherzinger.
Kanye subsequently invited Lewis to join his family for Easter celebrations. He revealed at the time: “Lewis Hamilton‘s over at my house and we’re playing some music in my studio.
“We’re having an Easter brunch and all of the family’s there, my wife’s family, my friends, everything. And everybody’s like, ‘What is this music?’ And I’m like, ‘It’s Lewis Hamilton’s music.'”
Whilst Kim has progressed romantically and courted figures such as Pete Davidson following her separation from Kanye, the rapper has also remarried Australian architect Bianca Censori.
The couple have grabbed attention with numerous bizarre ensembles and provocative appearances. Matters nearly spiralled when Bianca donned an entirely transparent ensemble at the Grammy Awards.
Turning up together at the ceremony, Bianca initially wore a black fur coat before quickly removing the outer garment. She revealed a translucent, see-through dress that left little to the imagination, leaving spectators agape at her virtually naked display.
