A horror multi-vehicle crash involving a lorry on the UK’s busiest motorway has brought traffic to a standstill this afternoon.
Police and ambulance crews have raced to the scene on the M25 in Essex between junctions 25 and 27 to deal with the incident.
A post on the National Highways reads: “The M25 in Essex is closed anti-clockwise between J27 (for the M11) and J25 (Waltham Cross) due to a multi-vehicle collision involving a lorry.
“All emergency services are on scene. National Highways Traffic Officers are on scene providing assistance with traffic management.”
It is not yet known whether there have been any serious injuries as a result of the crash.
