The so-called “Fab Four” were reunited briefly after the death of the late Queen. They surprised fans during the outing when the couples paired up to receive cards, flowers, and well wishes from the public.
According to a royal author, Kate Middleton found the moment very difficult. In his new book Our King: Charles III, author Robert Jobson wrote that Kate later said the event was “one of the hardest things she’s ever had to do.”
Meghan Markle also found the event difficult, a source told People. They said: “That’s the longest (Harry and Meghan) had ever been away from the kids, and then on top of it, knowing what’s being said out there — it was very difficult.”
A body language expert analysed the event. Behavioral Analyst Bedros Akkelian and body language expert David Stephens looked at the video from the event.
They asked, who looked most confident of the four when Kate, William, Harry, and Meghan met ahead of the walkabout.

He said Prince Harry and Prince William were “not looking terribly confident” with William adjusting his jacket and Harry holding a hand over his stomach.
David Stephens said: “Look at Kate. She’s striding out, she’s walking with purpose. By contrast, have a look at Meghan. What do we see when we look at Meghan?
“If you look at everyone else, who is she most similar to? If you look at the aide, standing for the far side of the screen in a very submissive pose. That’s her role. She’s trying to be invisible at the time.
“If you look at Meghan, she’s doing the same. She’s standing back, holding things in. You don’t see a confident pose.
“They are trying to make themselves small, and I think this is very much the case here with Meghan.”
He went on: “Kate is all business here. She commands the location. She’s the one who walks straight up and says hello to the waiting official and then stands in place while everyone else is sorting out what’s going on.
“This speaks volumes to confidence and influence. People who are confident and influential command the space around them. They work with confidence.”
