Mike Tindall has shared a rare insight into what life is like at home with his wife Zara Tindall and their three children.
The former rugby player, who married Princess Anne’s daughter in 2011, is a much-loved member of the Royal Family and is known for being a family man.
While Mike has previously shared insights into what his life is like within the Royal Family, he rarely shares personal details about life in the family’s farmhouse on Princess Anne’s Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire.
However, when guest-editing a special edition of Beano this week to celebrate Bananaman’s 45th anniversary, the dad-of-three has revealed what life is like at home, especially with his three children Mia, 11, Lena, six, and Lucas, three.
Mike wrote: “My job now is being a dad and I love it. It’s important to set a good example, so I play pranks on the kids and their mum.”
He continued: “I love hiding and jumping out to scare them. It works best on mum (Zara) – she screams SO loudly!
“The kids’ favourite prank is to hide under the table and tie people’s shoelaces together!”
As well as sharing good relationships with his immediate family, Mike also has a number of strong relationships with his royal in-laws.
This includes Prince William, Princess Kate and their three children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six.
