‘Must see’ thriller so scary viewers walked out halfway now on iPlayer | Films | Entertainment

BBC iPlayer has discreetly added a tense thriller that is so terrifying audiences were forced to leave the room midway through.

Upon reaching the summit of an abandoned radio tower, the pair discover themselves utterly marooned with no means of descent.

Their climbing abilities are pushed to their limits as they battle to stay alive.

Fans of films such as 47 Metres Down, which depicts two sisters imprisoned in a shark cage beneath the waves, will be immediately captivated by this edge-of-your-seat drama, reports the Mirror.

Despite remaining largely unknown to many cinema-goers, Fall still secured an impressive 79% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Critics delivered a favourable verdict, noting: “Fundamentally absurd yet as evocatively minimalist as its title, Fall is a sustained adrenaline rush for viewers willing to suspend disbelief.”

One viewer on the ratings platform was equally impressed, though they admitted certain sequences proved overwhelming.

They wrote: “I literally had to turn away and walk out of the room at times because the height scenes scared me so much.. love it one of my favourite movies kept me so on edge.”

Another viewer weighed in, commending the film’s surprising turn of events. “I definitely DID NOT expect the twist it had and totally made me gasp,” they said.

“Also I usually don like movies where everything happens at one place only, however this ONE! ! DID keep me interested all the time and wondering, how the hell will they get out of this situation, will they at all and will they die?”

Meanwhile, a third fan enthused: “Watched this so many times and it never gets old. It’s so thrilling and intense.

“No joke, I watched this with my Nanna and she usually falls asleep watching movies but this film kept her hooked, her eyes were open the whole time. A must see.”
