Princess Beatrice’s husband shares glimpse into family staycation | Royal | News

Princess Beatrice’s husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has shared a rare update on his Instagram offering royal fans a glimpse into their family staycation. Beatrice,36, and Edoardo have been wrapped up in a newborn baby buddle since they welcomed their second child together earlier this year.

Beatrice gave birth to a daughter named Athena, weighing 4lb 5oz, on January 22 at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. Edoardo – the founder of architecture and interior design house, Banda Property – took to his personal Instagram to share a series of idyllic photographs from a picturesque countryside cottage in Porthmadog, a charming harbour town in North Wales.

Steeped in maritime history and natural beauty, Porthmadog is located close to Eryri National Park and is the perfect place for a relaxing family break.

The snaps included a beautiful view of the Moel y Gest mountain, a hill to the west of Porthmadog, dolphins swimming in the bay and a peek at the antique furniture and artwork inside the 14th century manor house.

Edoardo’s mother, Nikki Williams-Ellis, and his stepfather, David Williams-Ellis, were also pictured smiling whilst enjoying a cup of tea on the terrace with the flowers on the table. David was captured reading the paper with the mountain in the background.

“Fancy an escape to magical North Wales @wernholidaycottages,” Edoardo wrote in the caption.

The family-run business consists of seven five-star luxurious holiday cottages on the Llyn Peninsula, promising guests a secluded and comfortable getaway. The largest property, Carregfelen, can accommodate 11 guests.

Nestled amidst woodlands and extensive gardens this 14th-century Manor House was extended in the 1920s. Inside, guests will uncover charming twisty corridors, stunning antique furniture, historic pictures and objects, creating an atmosphere of timeless elegance.

Beatrice and Edoardo share their time between their St James’s Palace apartment in London and their Cotswolds bolthole. The couple are proud parents to Athena and three-year-old daughter, Sienna, as well as Mr Mapelli Mozzi’s son and Beatrice’s stepson, eight-year-old Wolfie.
