Royal expert explores Prince Harry and Meghan’s ‘divided priorities’ | Royal | News

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have “deeply dividied priorities” in life right now, claims one royal expert. The couple, who now reside in California with their two children, stepped down from royal duties in 2020, moving to the US shortly after.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams now claims that trouble may be ahead for the couple, who have previously been met with “professional split” rumours.

Speaking to the Mirror, Mr Fitzwilliams revealed that Harry appears to want more to do with the UK, amid his upcoming review of his security in his home country, and Meghan appears focused on her brand As Ever – which had a major release today.

He said: “They appear to have deeply divided priorities and needs at the moment. Harry clearly wants to do more in the UK, and rebuild a relationship with his father, while Meghan is focused on her business.

“I can’t see how Harry would fit into the As Ever lifestyle and cookery world, and Meghan has no affection for Britain, so there’s a clear difference there.

“Harry needs something more substantial in his activities than looking on and waving from behind Meghan.”

He did, however, share that they do appear “emotionally committed” when it comes to their seven-year marriage.

Mr Fitzwilliams added: “They still seem emotionally committed to each other, but the outside noise and goings on around them as a couple is deafening at times.”

As well as working commitments, the couple are devoted parents to six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet.
