An email released as part of the DoJ’s latest tranche of Epstein files appears to confirm the genuineness of a photo of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor with Virginia Giuffre which he previously suggested was doctored.

The exchange, titled “draft statement” and sent by a “G Maxwell” to Jeffrey Epstein in 2015, read: “In 2001 I was in London when [redacted] met a number of friends of mine including Prince Andrew. A photograph was taken as I imagine she wanted to show it to friends and family.”

Andrew has claimed he never met Ms Giuffre, who accused him of sexual abuse before her death in 2025, but paid millions to settle a civil lawsuit with her in 2022.
